Perraultite, Zircon, Albite, Hastingsite


Perraultite : BaNaTi2 Mn2+4(Si2O7)2O2(OH)2F, Zircon : Zr[SiO4], Albite : Na[AlSi3O8], Hastingsite : [Na][Ca2][Fe2+4Fe3+][(OH)2|Al2Si6O22]

Locality: Unnamed Quarry, Dmitrievka village, Mariupol' Massif (Oktyabr'skii), Azov Sea Region, Donets'k Oblast' (Donetsk Oblast'), Ukraine
Apparently the largest known for the moment Perraultite crystal (7.5x3x1 mm in size) in feldspar matrix. Pinkish dipyramidal Zircon (var. Auerbachite) crystals are visible. Greenish-black amphibole is analysed Hastingsite. Self-collected in June 1994. Pavel M. Kartashov collection (#3369) and photo.
