Locality: Four Peaks Amethyst Mine (Arizona Amethyst Mine), Four Peaks, Mazatzal Mts, Maricopa Co., Arizona, USA

Elongated cluster of purple amethyst quartz crystals with thin coating of brown-black hematite micro crystals on the terminations. Originally acquired in 1969. Overall size of mineral specimen: 15x7x6 cm. Size of individual crystals: 1-4 cm.
