Locality: State Route 9 & Ellis Street interchange (Route 72 roadcut), New Britain, Hartford Co., Connecticut, USA

Single quartz crystal point from the one-time find during highway construction. Sides are fully crystallized intersected other crystals. Very clean, no damage. Large crystal for the locality. Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x3x3 cm. Size of individual crystals: 4 cm.
