Locality: The Cove (Topaz Valley), Topaz Mountain, Thomas Range, Juab Co., Utah, USA
Double-terminated topaz crystal. The label tells an interesting story: "Bixbyite- With topaz, quartz, sanidine and hematite. From the 'Thorite' locality, NE of ampitheater. This locality was discovered a few years ago by some German collector and is written up in Lapis." Photo is 4.3 mm in length. Photo and specimen: Steve Stuart.
