Locality: Elmwood mine, Carthage, Central Tennessee Ba-F-Pb-Zn District, Smith Co., Tennessee, USA
Brilliant, lustrous sphalerite crystals on a quartz-coated plate. When rear illuminated the red color shows where the sphalerite is translucent. No damage. Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x4x3 cm. Size of individual crystals: 3-20 mm.
