Locality: Gypsum Cave (Gyp Cave), Muddy Mountains District, Clark Co., Nevada, USA

Cluster of long white selenite crystals to 4 cm long. The surface is a dull white color described on the label as oxidized. All crystals are terminated. Originally acquired in 1941 from Schortmann's (Mass.) Ex. Dr. E. Sensel collection #BL328. Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x8x6 cm. Size of individual crystals: 1-4 cm.
