Locality: Heights Mine, Westgate, Weardale, North Pennines, Co. Durham, England, UK
Bluish purple fluorite with calcite from a pocket in the west (downthrown) side of the horselevel on West cross vein. Specimen 3.5" x 3.5" the fluorite shows interesting habit exhibiting interpenetration twinning common in this area and also elongate tabular outgrowths from some of the crystals.
