Magnetites are not rare from Bolivia, but usually you see plates carpeted with small crystals, not a single, BIG, perfect crystal such as this, isolated on matrix! This exceptional crystal measures 2 cm tip-to-tip. It is razor-sharp, with fine gunmetal luster. That ding you can see if you look carefully at the forward tip is in person nearly invisible to the naked eye; it was simply shot with this corner very close to the camera, but it is truly a micro-ding in person. 5.5 x 4 x 2.5 cm
