Locality: Chester Emery Mines, Chester, Hampden Co., Massachusetts, USA
Foliated crystals of lilac-colored margarite in green actinolite schist. See article: The Chester Emery Mines in Min. Rec., July-Aug. 1978. Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x5x4 cm. Size of individual crystals: 5-10 mm.
