Locality: Julcani Mine, Julcani District, Angaraes Province, Huancavelica Department, Peru
Large, prismatic crystals of enargite with iridescent, red-purple surface coating. Excellent large crystals. Illustrated specimen in the CD-ROM: Photographic Guide to Mineral Species (Excalibur, 1999). Ex. Dr. J. Weissman (author of the CD-ROM: Photographic Guide to Mineral Species). Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x3.5x1.5 cm. Size of individual crystals: 3-12 mm.
