Arsenopyrite : FeAsS - (Fe_0.90Co_0.10)AsS, Muscovite : KAl₂[(OH)₂|AlSi₃O₁₀]

Locality: Barroca Grande Mine, Panasqueira, Covilhã, Castelo Branco District, Portugal

Nice cluster of lustrous silvery striated crystals of arsenopyrite to 2 cm. Some areas present a brassy color probably due to a microscopic layer of marcasite. There are several rosettes made of hexagonal crystals of muscovite to 0.6 cm. Scattered white 1-mm. rhombs of calcite here and there.

Specimen size: 4.3x3.7x2.5 cm.
