Locality: Leiyang Co., Hengyang Prefecture, Hunan Province, China

Pale purple transparent fluorite crystals to 3 cm over a thin central plate of quartz crystals. The fluorite crystals are cubo-octahedral with center zones of purple and outer zone pale greenish. Originally acquired from R. Behnke in 1989. Ex. Dr. E. Sensel collection #M609. Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x6x4 cm. Size of individual crystals: 1-3 cm.
