Locality: Itrongay, Betroka Department, Horombe Region, Fianarantsoa Province, Madagascar
A gemmy 1.5cm yellow crystal of Orthoclase showing a typical feldspar crystal form with a rough surface and some minor iron staining, but underneath (and visible through a cleaved part on the rear of the crystal), the inside is 100% gemmy with no obvious imperfections.
