Locality: New Jersey Zinc Eagle Mine (Gilman Mine), Gilman, Gilman District (Battle Mountain District; Red Cliff District), Eagle Co., Colorado, USA

Plate of golden barite crystals to 13 mm from the classic Colorado locality for barite. Each barite crystal has an outer transparent zone and sandy-looking center zone. Originally acquired in 1962 from Scott Williams. Ex. Dr. E. Sensel collection #B193. Overall size of mineral specimen: 16x8x5 cm. Size of individual crystals: 4-13 mm.
