Locality: Treasury Tunnel (Treasury Tunnel Mine), La Plata Mountain, Ouray Co., Colorado, USA

Large cluster of lustrous colorless quartz crystals to 3 cm with a large dull gray chalcopyrite crystal (3 cm across) nestled between the quartz. No damage. Originally acquired in 1961 from John Albanese. Ex. Dr. E. Sensel collection #B49. Overall size of mineral specimen: 14x10x7 cm. Size of individual crystals: 1-3 cm.
