Locality: Baxiyayike diopside occurrence, Baicheng (Bay) Co., Akesu (Aksu; Aqsu) Prefecture, Xinjiang (Xinjiang-Uygur) Autonomous Region, China

Single crystal of transparent, green diopside with steep chisel-shaped termination. No damage. Overall size of mineral specimen: 18x9x6 mm. Size of individual crystals: 18 mm.
