Locality: Baxiyayike diopside occurrence, Baicheng Co. (Bay Co.), Akesu Prefecture (Aksu Prefecture; Aqsu Prefecture), Xinjiang Autonomous Region, China

Single crystal of transparent, green diopside with steep chisel-shaped termination. No damage. Overall size of mineral specimen: 18x9x6 mm. Size of individual crystals: 18 mm.
