Locality: Rico Argentine Mine, Silver Creek, Rico District (Pioneer District), Dolores Co., Colorado, USA

Large cluster of pyrite crystals (up to 8 cm!) with a steel-colored surface coating due to chalcocite. This coating is often incorrectly identified as bravoite. Excellent cluster, no damage. Originally acquired in 1962 from Scott Williams. Ex. Dr. E. Sensel collection #B170. Overall size of mineral specimen: 11x9x8 cm. Size of individual crystals: 3-80 mm.
