Locality: Eureka mine (Old Barite mine; Duncan mine), Five Islands, Colchester Co., Nova Scotia, Canada

Large cluster of thin, bladed barite crystals to 3 cm. The barite is pinkish-white with dark coating between crystals highlighting the forms. Originally Acquired in 1966. Ex. Dr. E. Sensel collection #G266. Overall size of mineral specimen: 11x10x5 cm. Size of individual crystals: 1-3 cm.
