Fluorite, Quartz


Fluorite : CaF2, Quartz : SiO2

A very rare form of Fluorite consisting of botryoidal growths on well formed Quartz crystals. The Fluorite is a deep translucent blue in the centre becoming more milky pale blue around the edges of the botryoids, with a silky lustre. The Quartz crystals are well terminated and clear to translucent, measuring to 3cm in length. An attractive and rare specimen.
