Locality: Alexandria Bay, Jefferson Co., New York, USA

Large olive-green blocky uralite crystals (hornblende altered from pyroxene) to 3 cm long in white calcite matrix. Collected many years ago by a well known field collector. Ex. Floyd Faux. Overall size of mineral specimen: 11x7x4 cm. Size of individual crystals: 1-3 cm.
