Locality: Undisclosed pegmatite locality, Burnet Co., Texas, USA

Some of the 120+ monazite-(Ce) specimens recovered to date from a new rare earth pegmatite in Burnet County, Texas. The two large pieces above the handle of the hammer and the piece to the far left are smoky quartz with 3-5cm partial crystals of monazite-(Ce) embedded in the surface.
