Jamesonite


Jamesonite

Floater specimen of white, interconnected quartz crystals up to 1 cm long with fine acicular jamesonite crystals filling the areas between the quartz. Minor pyrite crystals up to 3 mm are scattered about on the quartz too. Ex. Richard Gaines collection (co-author of Dana's 8th edition). Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x6x4 cm. Size of individual crystals: 1-10 mm.
