Locality: Santa Eulalia District, Mun. de Aquiles Serdán, Chihuahua, Mexico

Superb specimen of two generations of calcite, both twinned. The first generation are 6 cm chocolate-brown, twinned crystals. Overgrown, and epitaxially oriented, is translucent yellow calcite twinned along exactly the same twin plane - VERY RARE. Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x7x6 cm. Size of individual crystals: 6 cm.
