Locality: Kelly Island Stone Co. Quarry, Clay Center, Ottawa Co., Ohio, USA

Plate of golden scalenohedral calcite crystals up to 4 cm long (doubly-terminated). The calcites are translucent and all are undamaged. Originally acquired from W. Krause in 1962. Ex. Dr. E. Sensel collection #B291. Overall size of mineral specimen: 13x10x4 cm. Size of individual crystals: 1-4 cm.
