Quartz (Var: Amethyst)

Plate of colorless quartz crystals to 10 mm long rich overgrowth of deep purple amethyst crystals up to 12 mm diameter. From a one-time find discovered in a housing development. One of the best specimens I was able to obtain. Collected in 2000.. Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x4x4 cm. Size of individual crystals: 5-15 mm.
