A former small surface marble products quarry complex located in the SE ΒΌ sec. 10, North-central sec. 27 and North-central sec. 35, T.16S., R.23E. Discovered by L.R. Ligier in 1909. Produced 1946-1965, 1978, and 1985. Additional names associated with this group of quarries: Yuma claims; Ligier Red Marble Quarry; Apache Yellow Quarries. NOTE: Alternate coordinates provided: 32.0053N, 110.005W.
Mineralization is marbelized, fractured, and folded white and colored Mississippian, Pennsylvanian and Permian limestones (Earp Limestone; Escabrosa Limestone).
Workings are quarries operations. A relatively small production of dimension stone and crushed marble were produced.
