Ref.: Palache, C., Berman, H., & Frondel, C. (1951), The System of Mineralogy of James Dwight Dana and Edward Salisbury Dana, Yale University 1837-1892, Volume II: 72. A long-abandoned group of copper mines, worked from ~1860-1923 and producing over 6Mt of ore. Workings feature the Hancock shaft, Warmington shaft, Lady Alice shaft & the eastern lode system.
