Regional Report: Mt Heemskirk mineral field, Zeehan district, Tasmania, Australia

A mineralised granite area some 20-40km west of Zeehan. Miarolitic cavities in the granite can contain attractive specimens of quartz (milky, smoky, clear, amethyst and citrine) and schorl (green and black), and sometimes cassiterite.
