Name:
Apparently named for the occurrence in the Malaya Bystraya deposit, Russia.
Cancrinite Group. The formula may be changed, as the presence of pentasulphide anion in the losod cage was recently confirmed (Sapozhnikov et al., 2016). The third polysulphide-containing mineral, by sulfhydrylbystrite and bazhenovite (this does not count disulfides).

Bystrite is confirmed to be the chloride analogue of sulfhydrylbystrite.
