This is at the actual fee digging section of the Emerald Hollow Mine. This formation was in the largest pit we saw - whatever had been in this vein had been almost entirely scrapped out. This is the sluice area for visitors to the Emerald Hollow Mine. Whoever listed this location either got the name of the mine wrong or the name has changed recently, because this fee digging enterprise goes by the name Emerald Hollow Mine, not the Emerald Valley Mine. Visitors pay a fee per bucket - and the owners have different types of buckets ...
