Kukhi-Malik (Kuhi-malik) tract near former Ravat Village, Yagnob River, joint of Zeravshan and Gissar Range, Viloyati Sogd (Viloyati Sughd), Tajikistan

The slope at Kukhi-Malik tract above coal layer with active fumarols forming salammoniac crusts and grifons. Salammoniac covered with yellow sulfur needle crystals. To understand scale: gryphons (holes) in salammoniac crust are 20-40 cm.
