Dalyite has only been found in a small area within the janhaugite locality, and it is found on or very near janhaugite grains. Bleka Gold Mine, Bleka, Svartdal, Seljord, Telemark, Norway Bleka Goldmine, Svartdal, Telemark, Norway. Old postcard ca. 1900. The mine was operated in two periods: 1882-1901 by Compagnie Francaise des Mines de Bamble, and 1933-1940 by AS Bleka gruber. At top production the mine employed 80 persons. Herrebøkasa, Aspedammen, Idd, Halden, Østfold, Norway For some weeks during the summer of 2005, collectors could enter the quarry and dig in the old dumps - normally laying inaccessable under water. After a couple of months the water level was back to normal. |
