Cordierite-Quartz rock
	May Downs Station, Mount Isa district, Mt Isa - Cloncurry area, Queensland, Australia A boulder consisting almost entirely of cordierite, with stained, yellowish quartz between the rounded porphyroblasts. This rock type is common to the east of the well known dravite locality, back towards Mount Isa township. The boulder is about 40 centimetres across. Photo taken in October 2008.

Fossicking Area
	Cattle Creek, Mary Kathleen district, Mt Isa - Cloncurry area, Queensland, Australia 2008-11-08. Most of the pebbles on the ground are staurolites surrounded with matrix. Someone left their sifting table behind too. The track from here to Ballara is a rush in my Grand Vitara. Mostly thinking about the monetary value of all the damage incurred!

In situ tourmaline

Mine Entrance/Decline Road
