	Route 73, Beauceville, Robert-Cliche RCM, Chaudière-Appalaches, Québec, Canada Alpine quartz veins at the roadcut of Route 73 just at the border of Beauceville and Saint Joseph de Beauce. This is probably the slate schists of the Caldwell formation, not far from the subduction zone.

Asbestos
	Thetford Mines, Mégantic Co., Québec, Canada The mine used block-caving to produce asbestos. Scrapers assemble the ore from the different drawpoints here at the grizzly-level, and dump it in the ore shaft to be hauled to the crusher on an even lower level. June 1981, scanned from slide.
