Looking towards Amethyst Cove.

Amethyst Cove (Captain Kidd's Cove), Bay of Fundy, Kings Co., Nova Scotia, Canada

A late fall shot looking east from the bottom of the ropes. Though collector's often refer to the whole area as Amethyst Cove, the cove proper is located just before the farthest point in the photo. The cliffs are basalt and reach a height of about 300 ft. Taken about 2002 by Ronnie Van Dommelen.

Miners and narrow gauge railway in the vicinity of the Hanway Shaft at the eastern end of Cape D'Or near Cape Spencer. Taken about 1905 from a promotional brochure produced by the Colonial Copper Company.
