Woodward Ranch, Alpine, Brewster Co., Texas, USA A view across the hills of the Woodward Ranch, west side, with the higher mountains in the distance (my own photo taken in March, 2008). Many varieties of agate can be found in these low hills, as well as fluorescent calcite and aragonite.
