First pocket found

Flambeau Mine, Ladysmith, Rusk Co., Wisconsin, USA

This image was taken as the first few really fine chalcocites had been recovered from this pocket feature. It was a warm late June day in 1994. Location within the pit was 401.2 - 1030 level. 401 was the far west end of the pit.
