GG7-N5HAugite : (Ca,Na)(Mg,Fe2+,Al,Fe3+,Ti)[(Si,Al)2O6]

Field of view 20 mm. This is a extraordinary and very rare combination of a paralell growth of two twins after (100) with inverted c-axis. It also shows (rare for the species) (021) and (221) crystal faces. Collected by and gift from Bill Tompkins.
