Skarsfjell pegmatite (Skardsfjell), Tørdal, Drangedal, Telemark, Norway The minerals are found in the amazonite-pegmatite. Mostly the minerals are frozen in matrix but some are also found in in small vugs. |

Heftetjern pegmatite, Tørdal, Drangedal, Telemark, Norway This photo show the most accessible part of the Heftetjern pegmatite. Most of the dumps after an exploration blast some years ago are still available for collectors. There are still excellent possibilities to collect many of the interesting minerals found here. |

Upper part of the locality - June 2008 | |

Skarsfjell pegmatite (Skardsfjell), Tørdal, Drangedal, Telemark, Norway There is still a lot of material to work through here. After my short visit at the locality my thoughts were that this is a place with great potensials, still hiding good and interesting finds of microminerals. |
