Låven (Skådön; Lamö; Lamanskjaer), Langesundsfjorden, Larvik, Vestfold, Norway Small yellow aggregates of låvenite in nephelinesyenite pegmatite in situ in the type locality peghmatite on Låven island. Type locality for aegirine | |

Låven (Skådön; Lamö; Lamanskjaer), Langesundsfjorden, Larvik, Vestfold, Norway On the small island of Laaven at the entrance of Langesundsfjord, this is the exact type locality for aegirine. Enough left, but it's a strictly protected locality. The shoe is size 46/11.5. June 2007. Laaven is also the type locality for astrophyllite, catapleiite, lavenite, leucophanite, mosandrite, tritomite-(Ce). |
