Collecting at the Umba mine | |

Umbozero mine, Alluaiv Mt, Lovozero Massif, Kola Peninsula, Murmanskaja Oblast', Northern Region, Russia Me collecting at the dumps of the Umba mine (Umbozero mine) at the eastern slope of the Alluaiv mountain in the Lovozero Massif in 1992. The mine is the type-locality for 5 minerals. The ore is loparite found in a 2 – 3 m layer of ijolite – urtite rock. |
