Birch Tor & Vitifer Mine, Warren House, Central Dartmoor, Dartmoor & Teign Valley District, Devon, England, UK This is the boundry stone between the sett of East Birch Tor, behind the photographer and Birch Tor, beyond the stone. The inscription can just about be read: top line 'East Birch' second line 'Tor' The stone stands about 18 inches high and is found in the cutting almost at the top of the hill (SX689809 sorry no GPS today).
