The three mian adits and dumps

Mohawk Mine (Clark Station Mine; Pactolus Mine; Wilshire prospect), Mohawk Hill, Pactolus, Clark Mountain District, Clark Mts, San Bernardino Co., California, USA

The mineralized vein was emplaced along a fault plane cutting this hill about two-thirds of the way up. It was mined from the three adits visible here, and the best collecting was on the dumps. Photo taken by W. Wise in the Spring of 1972.
