Tsumeb Mine (Tsumcorp Mine), Tsumeb, Otjikoto (Oshikoto) Region, Namibia De Wet shaft headgear in the main street of Tsumeb. The mine is situated in the middle of town. This shaft was closed in 1996 after a long strike by workers and is flooded to the 9th level. Before closing the shaft it was stripped of all working and usefull material. |
