Cavities in basalt | |

Unnamed prospect, North Table Mountain, Golden, Golden District, Jefferson Co., Colorado, USA This is a photo of the many zeolite filled cavities in the basalt near the top of North Table Mountain. The most common ones here are thompsonite, chabazite and analcime, with others to a more minor percentage. Road to quarry | |

West Quarry, North Table Mountain, Golden, Golden District, Jefferson Co., Colorado, USA This is a photo looking towards the quarry from near Hwy 93. The road reaches the top in the slight cut in the center of the photo at the skyline. The road is maybe a mile long and fairly smooth dirt and gravel. |
