Entrance to Oriole Number 8 Portal; Over the decades the mine timbers have developed crusts of tyuyamunite and other secondary uranium minerals from water sepage. I did not venture further into the tunnel for obvious reasons. Very cool formation though. Photo; Rudy Bolona, March 30, 2008. |
