Here we see the 1st rock dump in the Beryl Pit, Quaderville. In the left of the image you see the beginning to the 2nd main rock dumps. In the far right you see a rough road that is the entrance to the pit.

This is a photo of the 2nd mine dumps in the Beryl Pit, Quaderville. On the right you see the second main dumps, on the left you see the beginning of the 3rd main dumps which lead to the open cuts. In the middle of the picture is the rough road that led to the pit.

Hosing the Beryl Pit

This photo shows mine owner Richard Farmery hosing debris from the east end of the Beryl Pit. The surface had not been exposed in nearly 70 years. Intense green-blue colored beryl var. aquamarine and raspberry colored fluorite were exposed. Notice the glacially polished surface of the pegmatite in the upper right. Schorl, Albite and Beryl on the Floor of the Beryl Pit
