The mining works of the Pollone mine, near Valdicastello Carducci. This was a barite mine that closed in 1989. It is famous for its geocronite crystals but also for the crystal of smoky quartz found in its tunnels.

Preziosa tunnel

Entrance of Preziosa tunnel. In this tunnel was digged Ag-rich galena and,later, barite. Preziosa tunnel is famous because of proustite, piromorfite and rutile samples.
