Born 1963, collecting minerals since the time of childhood i hiked with my parents in
the wonderful austrian alps.
My passion about minerals accompanied me through the years, only one break of 4 years happens.

My special interests are alpine cleft minerals from austria, but also some mining districts like
Sunk, Bleiberg, Erzberg, Oberdorf aund Oberzeiring, unfortunately most are closed.

The mineral collection is composed mainly of cabinet size pieces and contains approx. 300 items.

For some time i`m working on a data file about austrian minerals and localities, with main range
of the area " Tauernfenster " in the alps, so all publications reference autrian minerals are interesting for me.
