I grew up in Yeadon, Pennsylvania, USA, which is immediately west of Philadelphia. During these years I developed a love for fossils and minerals, but all I ever found was muscovite, more muscovite, and nothing but muscovite...Fortunately, I moved. After graduating college in 2002, I rediscovered my love for minerals--earth's natural art--and have since been collecting.

As most of us come to realize, we can't collect everything, so I've narrowed my collecting to predominantly aesthetic Romanian pieces, unusual amethysts (i.e. reverse scepter pieces mostly), historic pieces, and amazing large and extra large cabinet pieces that are amazing and on sale.

I occasionally do deal some minerals, but I mostly prefer to collect.

	Guanajuato, Mun. de Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico 3.8 x 3.3 x 2.8 cm. An incredibly rich and fine, old silver ore specimen from the mines at Guanajuato, Mexico. This excellent, two-sided specimen features a multitude of beautifully burnished, aesthetically placed on the crest, curved and curled silver wires and silver ropes on a matrix of lustrous, crudely crystallized, solid acanthite. Topaz : Al₂(SiO₄)(F,OH)₂
	Mimoso do Sul Mine, Mimoso do Sul, Espírito Santo, Brazil 7.2 x 5.6 x 4.5 cm. Here we have a classic pale blue-green Topaz crystal with rather sharp faces, good transparency, and textbook form. Brazil has long produced some of the finest Topaz specimens extant, and to find them such a complete crystal of this size is not terribly common. The piece is in amazingly great shape overall.
